How do I Monk?

I don't understand the finishing moves. Do I have to be in a particular stance AND casting a ability in alignment with that stance to get the finishing move? Which elements will let me cast the healing finishing move? Basicly, how do I get the Finishing moves I want to proc?

they all work in any stance, and use your attacks to determine, say you want to use your healing ki finisher, you will use fists of light three times in a row, then hit the finisher button, which will activate the finisher, same with any other, if its walk of the fire dragon or whatever it is, then you will use fire attack then Fists of Light and the fire attack again and you will have that finisher open, when you have a finisher available then you will get a visual effect on your monk that looks like lightning arcing on you.

the finishers should be listed on your feat list. if you put the "Finishing Moves" or whatever feat on your hotbar, an icon will appear there when you have performed the three required strikes without an interuption such as drinking a potion, climbing up a ladder, etc.

Example Finishers: Fists of Light 3x - healing ki
Fire Strike 3x - breath of the fire dragon
Fire-FoL-Fire: Walk of the Sun (1 min party buff)

Also remember, you have to be centered, have a ki weapon equipped and have enough ki to use the strikes or finishers.
