I would say you could get by with out hide, move silently, and tumble. All of those skills are based on DEX which is a dump stat. If those skills are really important too you and you don't have access to 32 point builds or higher I think you can make that work. The OP's build is more optimized but play what you enjoy.
DPS + HP are the king and anything the increases DPS/HP is usually what people look for. You'll lose +1 attack and 1.5 damage when THF. Overall I think you can make what you suggested work but as others have said you might be better off with less skills and more STR or CON.
I have 51 perform skill with my GH on me, is that enought for epic VON6 or should i try to get it higher?
Why dont you Take mental toughness since your cha is so low?
I never take mental toughness on any character because I just don't think it gives enough sp for spending a feat. If you feel differently, go for it. I'm sure it can be very valuable if you are really trying to do a healing focus and haven't gotten used to managing your mana bar / resources.

Hi, I'm trying this build as my first character, but I'm stuck with my Enhancements at level 5 now. I spent 13 points on the Enhancements you listed, but I need 14 points spent to get the next ones now.
Here is what I have so far, I double checked if I missed any:
Bard Energy of the Music I
Bard Inspired Attack I
Bard Inspired Bravery I
Bard Inspired Damage I
Bard Lingering Song I
Bard Song Magic II
Bard Wand and Scroll Mastery I
Human Greater Adaptability Constitution I
Human Improved Recovery I
Racial Toughness I
Where should I put my 14th point, so I can unlock the next tier of Enhancements?
Any help would be appreciated!
For 1 point you can get Extra Song (somewhat useful at low levels) or Lyric of Song (chance for heals to crit). Then you could move on to Inspired Bravery II for the prestige requirement.
Lots of people, including the author of the original guide and me too, would suggest resetting enhancements a few times while leveling. Just before (or just after - if you forget) taking the 6th/12th/18th level is a good time, so you can get the prestige enhancement along with the most useful enhancements you can get along the way.
White Fang (newbie-friendly build) - TWF melee dps with self-sufficiency and rogue skills.
California King - the hagglebot craftbot alt build, pure Arty leveling with two-handed weapons.
Ok, must have missed that I can reroll those Enhancements later on, thanks!
Thank you so much for this build! I have repeatedly rolled up bards before getting bored because while they can dish out some awesome buffs, I cannot kill anything. I rolled up the half orc version of this build, and I am now kill everything while maintaining buffs-it is fantastic!
Main problem with my earlier bards was they were spellsingers... never again
Currently having some trouble making the human versatility line fit in the enhancements in this build after the buff.
Any suggestions?
Good Day, just wondering on the overall surviabiity of this build for solo leveling a third life. I do not have a normal group I run with, due to the times played and normally make the journey by myself.
I have a Human FvS, first life cleric, with "some" raid gear, that I was considering TRing into the HOrc Warchanter. I have never played a warchanter, or bard for that matter, will a warchanter be able to solo to 20, and do some light farming duties once at cap? Im also a favor hound, and normally leave no quests untouched on my way to cap.
Im working on another FvS atm, WF LoB, first life barb, and once he is capped, I will consider undertaking this route...
It's very survivable. Anything that can displace, haste, and heal itself is. Just can't play stupid as you have rogue HP on something with barbarian defenses.
Having just built one as a horc I gotta say I think human would have been been better. More HP, Healing amp, and that feat would have been nice. You just don't have the APs to max all the useful bard stuff and all the horcish DPS stuff. AT cap I want my songs to be as great as possible as well as the healing and scroll mastery, couldn't fit in any of the Horc PA stuff though I did get the increased damage.
Thank you for the reply... I'm interested in a warchanter, always have, just considering the grind to get back to 20 and once at 20, to soloablility of such character, for me, comes into play.
I like the idea of human, and although the HOrc brings more dps, I "think" it would be easier to level the human. "Think" because I have never been there with a Bard.
I have horc version, just soloed CC yesterday lvl 20. So soloing is not problem, is not good for soloing like fvs, wizzy or sorc but its good.

having fun with my first life warforged classic rocker, tanked vod a few times now, doesn't have any really great gear just a epic antique and some greensteel, and only had 600 hp.
People where ZOMG!! how can a bard do that? I guess they are use to the 280 hp bards that just buff and die.
So, I've started a human classic rocker and it's been a ton of fun. However, now that I'm level 8 I have a question about weapons. I have a Carnifex which has been great (It's fun to top the kill chart while throwing out buffs and heals). However, it's not so great vs. undead. And I saw that the recommended GS item was a falchion.
I'm really nowhere near being able to make a GS item (I'm new enough that I don't really even fully understand how it works) but I can buy/cannith craft something. What would you guys recommend? Falchion? Great-axe? Something of Pure Good + ? I can probably put Flaming Pure Good on a maul to beat up skellies with, but in general when does Carnifex outlive its usefulness, and what should I go to next?
Thanks!
The issue you're running into with skeletons and undead is something that every character has to deal with. You'll probably have to carry two or more weapons to get at different monster types. Make yourself a nice holy of undead bane maul (or holy of pure good) to deal with them. As far as your next step past carnifex, a falchion with general DPS flags will likely be your best bet. I'm not sure what your crafting level is, but holy (burst), acid (burst) falchion of bleeding/pure good would be really nice.
Good luck!
