So my starting ki rests at 43. I was just wondering where other monks ki starts out at. Where do you other capped monks sit?

I think mine is at 65 or so. I can see somebody being close to 70, perhaps a wf monk.

It is as much as the concentration skill. Mine is usually 48 but I can wear the Shintao Cord to bring it to 63 (usually, I wear Oremi's necklace). With Head of good Fortune I can reach 65 if needed, and (i guess) 68 in Mountain Stance.

Think it also depends if you spec'ed your monk to have certain abilities by the paths you've taken. For example, I have taken the Rise of the Phoenix enhancement line, so 50 base Ki for me that I can regenerate into means I can slowly but surely raise others if I need to. I also had 50 Ki when I was a Dark Monk for Touch of Death too.

Obviously there are advantages to having certain setups, so each monk out there is slightly different with their base Ki at the start of a quest.

For awhile I swapped feats to fit in concentration for that reason as well. I wanted to have a standing 30ki so that I could align the heavens right when I entered the dungeon rather than having the group wait for me to meditate.

Haven't logged him in in awhile, but something like:

    23 Ranks
    15 Item
    5 Con
    10 Capstone
    6 GS Cloak
    ---
    59

Then another 4 for a GH clicky and occasionally another 2 from Walk of the Sun.

I'm starting to think concentration isn't that important for dark path monks. Make me believe.
