Default Not very active recruiting here...

... so I'm posting to look for a guild.

I was in a very small guild and I didn't like certain things about it. I won't go into detail so I don't offend anyone. I was not in that guild very long, by my choice. The other guild I was in had a member from the first one who I did not care for, so I'm avoiding that guild too.

I would prefer to be in a guild that has at least 6 people on during common playing times. Anything smaller than that makes it hard to group up for content. Even that size can have issues when members progress at different rates.

I mostly want to play a light-path monk. I played a Bard to 17 and stopped getting XP, so I rolled a monk to see what they were like. I am having a blast at level 10 now. I don't want to go back to my Bard.

As a student, I play during the daytime (US) and in the evenings. I would be VIP but I am lacking funds for a week or so. Access to content to run won't be an issue for me soon.

PM me or post here if your guild is recruiting monks.

There are a lot of guilds actively recruiting.

Just need to look around run with people if they like you and you like them let them know you are looking.

Then they know to ask if want invite or trial.

Most guilds like to run with people before they ask them to join so keep eyes and ears open you will find a home soon enough.

CLAW is recruiting but you must be sponsored by a current member. You get a sponsor by grouping with CLAW members.
We recruit the person not the toon. This means we want good helpful people that are willing to put time in to help others, with advice, groups, xp, raids and if you have extra items pass them down to members. We also only recruit people who are over the age of 18 as most of us are in our 30's.

I would pull up the social window in DDO sort by guilds and see who is online from CLAW and try to get in groups, ONLY if the above info looks like the sort of atmosphere you can support and want to be part of.

Take it or leave it, this will help...

1 - Posting that you are pretty much looking for a guild that is recruiting monks (primarilly or only) will not help your cause. Most guilds prefer people that can or do play multiple toons, especially if one or more are casters, or even better still... Clerics.

2 - Posting that you have had issues with your last 2 guilds, even one member will diminish your chances even further of being guilded.

Similar to what Bilger wrote... run with people and if they see you are unguildied and they like your stuff and you like theirs... boom... guilded.

Ask them how big their guild is, what they do the most of, etc.. etc..
