    Default reinstalling DDO without redownloading

In case I can't sort out my GFX woes outlined in my other thread, is there any way to uninstall DDO and reinstall it without redownloading the whole thing? What I really want to be able to do is somehow verify the installation so it'll self fix any broken files, which I've seen it do during updates, but I don't know how to force that. So in the absence of that, is there some other way to go without downloading 5GB of stuff - my ISP is getting twitch about the amount of downloading I do, my cap is only 10GB per month.

I don't know for sure if this has worked, but last night I renamed the DDO folder, and started the Turbine client downloading it again. While it was doing that, I paused it, copied the original content into the new folder, and resumed the client. It continued downloading the first and second chunks (about 400MB) which would be beach and Korthos, and then verified the remaining 4.5GB - and I assume fixing as it went if it found any bugs, I didn't watch it to make sure.

I think that the first 400MB probably contains the game engine, since that's all that is required to start playing on a brand new account (on a new account, the first section is required before you can create your character and log in, and it downloads the rest in the background while you are playing - but the fact it lets you play suggests to me the full game engine is in place by that point). This would make the remaining 4.5GB all just game content rather than engine, so I'm hoping that this constitutes a 'reinstall'.

I'll be testing over the next few days to see if my bugs are sorted, and if so I'll post back here to confirm for posterity (and so that any future searches anyone does on this subject turn up a result, because mine didn't!). If it doesn't sort it, then I'll assume it didn't reinstall properly and come back to bump the thread in the hopes of getting an answer from someone.

Nope. Guess I'm downloading from scratch then.
