Pro tips here:
I will use a specific example to teach you new people how to play this game. In weapon shipment DO NOT LET THE TITAN GRAB AGRO. We are not here to sit and twiddle thumbs for 4 minutes. We are here to do work, grab loot, ????, profit. That is what most vets do. We do stuff quick and efficiently (mostly quick). If there is an opportunity to do something in a longer fashion, why do it?
The pit fiend at the end of WS attacks one player. If you stand on that player, you are going to get hit as well. Stand behind the pit fiend and you will take less damage (some from fireballs). This can be used in pretty much all quests. If you do not have agro, stand on the monster's back. Whoa. It is the exact same as the titan getting agro. You take the same amount of damage. If a healer has trouble keeping 1 person up that is his problem.
If someone gets mad at you for standing there doing nothing, waiting for the titan to grab agro while someone is attacking the pit fiend already, do not get defensive. Do what the leader says. Hit him. If you stand on the player who has agro and the leader says "go behind him" don't say "that's why most groups let the titan get agro." Go behind him. Most vets don't care if you are new if you listen and don't get lippy thinking you are the ****.
A good DDO player: Minimizes the dmg he takes while maximizing the dmg he deals. If you play by this rule many people will enjoy running with you.
