W/E handwraps Broken?

I have a set of +2 Weakening Handwraps of Enfeebling.
Someone in game said that w/e was broken on wraps(mechanic broken) so they do not actually work.
Is this true? Does anyone know?

Depends on the +, but +3 Weak & Feeb I'd not pay more than X2-3 their base value. The prices, at least on Khyber, are a joke at times.

Any Weakening of Enfeebling handwraps found recently (within the last 10 months or so) are fine and work.

There are some older ones that didn't work (either the weakening or the enfeebling didn't work I can't remember which). If you find yourself with a pair of those, just take them to the Stone of Change either by the Bank in the Marketplace or the one by the Tower of the Twelve and place the wraps in it. Then activate the machine and that should fix any of the older broken handwraps.

Also, if you choose to test them out on a mob... don’t use the frost giants in the Reavers Refuge area. They have a Turbine inspired cheese field that protects them from stat damage.
