    Default Voice Chat deactivates upon 4th person in party entering

    Lately I have been encountering a problem where the voice chat and game sounds work fine until the 4th person enters the chat. Game audio continues, but the voice seems to shut off even though all services are activated. For the most part the party can still hear me talking, but I cannot hear the party chat at all, and even the names stop lighting up to show voice activation.

    I am using a logitech headset (brand new) and can speak and hear fine until the 4th person joins voice chat, after that all voice stop playing to me, while game sounds continue and recording continues. This is particularly vexing issue, but I did not find any other support articles like it on the forums.

    This is a trimmed down dxdiag for the system.

    I'd look first into updating those drivers, they're approaching five years old. Also go into your "My Documents" > "Dungeons and Dragons Online" folder and look for and open the userpreferences.ini file.

    In there under the [Voice] section try these settings:

    NetworkLatencyThresh=100
    MicVolume=1.00
    MicCaptureThreshold=0.25
    VoiceVolume=1.00

    Exit out of the file and choose yes when it asks you to save changes.
