    Default rogues

playing rogue is the pits. i think playing rog could be more fun if the could sneak properly in pvp.

it's been argued that this would require endless lines of code when the plain truth is the oposit, a simple cut and paste.

the code already exists it just needs to be implimented for players that aren't on your team.

I agree. I have seen 'stealth' work very well in PvP in other MMO's and never
understood why it couldn't be initiated here. Without the ability to stealth in DDO
PvP, many rogues are gimped. Would like to see the Dev's develop this further.

I would like to see this as well, although I'm not so positive it is as easy as "cut n paste;" nor that it should be even remotely a priority.

    copy and paste

yep just that easy. have you never seen a drow elf in searing hights go invis? have you never seen a stalking spider with no name visible? it's all there in the codes already.

infact, it'd be more correct to frame it that code mearly needs to be removed in order to implement pvp stealth.

Last I checked ( I don't pvp much ) Everyone level 11ish + has heavy fort and is immune to sneak attacks anyway... so just don't play rogue for pvp.

well that's just not even fair considering that's realy what a rogue is for. stealing from you and killing you in your sleep gimping skills like move and hide while keeping proform checks just rly isn't on the up and up. yaknow bards being completely not for killing things as much as singing and twadling about like a pansy bards are pretty much the most dangerous thing atm.

also i'd like to see pvp outside of the brawling room be made properly. you're supposed to be able to go to the pvp agent in almost every tavern and get automaticly connected to a deathmatch or ctf group. this function does not work properly and only works if you've already set up the team from an lfm or invite.

another idea i'm kicking around is for every public area to have a pvp instance that can be entered or left from any tavern. the market place would make a very nice ffa area. players could release to their bind point and then either renter by exiting the tavern or by changing out of the pvp instance. or perhaps get automaticly transfered out of the pvp instance upon release and sent back to their non pvp comon instance where they were bound. yah maybe not even have any bind points in pvp instances.

Every once in a while there's that level 17 sorcerer who thinks he's wonderful and has 0% fort....

when the absolute maximum is around 700 hp, and most casters only have in the 300s, gimp dps is still lethal dps with some GS.

i think this'd be cool for some of the guild pvping we do every now and again, and it certainly seems like a cut and paste job, though coding is usually not so simple
