Wiz 7/Rog 2

I have a Wiz 7/Rog 2 Drow about to level and im not sure which class to take.
I want to take Wizard, Ranger, Fighter or Rogue.

I play like a Rogue always sneaking and scouting ahead but will hold back and cast spells in big fights. Also use bows/crossbows fairly often but mainly I have a spell penetration dagger and damage weapon equipped.

I use all the self buff spells I can and the rest are crowd control and firewall.
I have not had much problem getting traps so far.
Spells are landing pretty well.


Main problems are my hit points are to low and my melee to hit is not that good.

Go Wiz18/Rog2 as planed. Atleast it looks like that.

Max UMD. Must. If not reroll. UMD gives you cure wands/heal scrolls.

If you have problem with hit points, boost them. Con item (+tome), False Life item, Toughnes feat + toughnes enhancements, Rage spell.

Will not make you a "tank", but combined with self-heal (UMD!) will be good enough.

Also don't forget to have Displace + stoneskin on. 100% fort is also a must. A bit hard to have at 9, but gets easier to have at 11+.

What is also very important is play-style. Never start a fight (agro) if you are not able to finish it.

Well, now, that's just good advice regardless of your build.
