People obviously don't listen to ICP...I mean really LISTEN!! There is a messege that you just dont get, becuase you refuse to listen to the lyrics.

I am not talking about the songs jibbing at EM or other artists. I am referring to the rest of there songs. Sure, alot of their songs are just for pure shock value entertainment. But give a listen to them and you will hear what they are saying in almost every song.

just a few of their more serious songs. Don't think you know what they are about when you havent heard the real sh!t..

THIS IS JUST MY OPINION AND NOT STARTING A WAR HERE!!! BUT, IF YOU WANT TO KNOW THE REAL MESSEGE THEY ARE TRYING TO GET ACROSS, LISTEN TO MORE OF THEM!!!!

Seriously? These guys are just clowning, literally AND proverbially. The whole juggalo thing is more overboard than rappers with gangster grills on their teef ghostriding shortbusses down busy streets. Even when they are interviewed, they themselves state that they are not so sure why people take them so seriously, when they are just clowning. They themselves are baffled as to why people live the entire juggalo lifestyle, act all hard, and do crazy stuff to other people.

Oh, Ive heard all the real stuff, trust me, and they aint it. I have done live sound for some of their earlier shows, and have talked to a few of them face to face. They dont even care about half the stuff they are saying. In interviews, they have basically admitted to using KISS style merchandizing to make money, and have none of these credibility issues their fans claim they have.

P.S. Real mofos trying to send this message dont sell their stuff at Hot Topic in the mall. Peace.

Kool Keith would still rip em to pieces. Real hard core.

LOL ICP are a joke. They always have been. They dont take themselves seriously. They appeal the to trendy hot topic kids. who wants to be hardcore and say they listen to some rap but prefer the non"gangsta" feel. They have never been very technical lyricly.

Personally I don't care if Eminem has lost his edge cause he's no longer the "poor white boy from 8 mile." I enjoy the music he puts out and I'd have to say 3AM is one of my favorites so far: the video is a real twist.
I guess making a complaint about him not having that edge is like the Metallica fans pre-Black complaining that Metallica was selling out. Sure selling venues everywhere they went.

Just my thoughts that are reflected by myself and representative of what others may think.

The Metallica comparison is a bad one. Metallica lost it musically after the Black album and have made poor attempts to regain what they were. Yes they have sold more records to fair weather fans. But they released two Alt rock records Load/Reload, a steaming nu-metal pile of crud St Anger, and a horribly produced/played, uninspired rehash with their latest. Their live preformances are sloppy for the most part. Though thats mainly Lars and Kirk, and they have been completely outclassed by their peers. Testament, Exodus,Megadeth, Slayer,Kreator..... continue to release solid worthy "thrash" albums to rave reviews. Machine Head's latest The Blackening is more relavent than anything Metallica have done since 91. Thats 19 years ago. Metallica are living on their legacy. Not anything remotely current.

Though I'm not terribly impressed with Em's latest work. Comparing him to a band that stopped caring about creativity and writing solid memorable tunes is a bit of a stretch.

Remember just because you sell records doesnt mean the music is good. William Hung is an example to us all.

Track reminded me of a newish era Tech9 song. Not too bad. I still think the rap world has yet to make an album as good as Wu Tang Forever, but then I'm an old geek who hasn't heard a ton of stuff. Recent favs are Oh No, MF Doom and Blackalicious.

I'd agree except for Triumph and about a half dozen other tracks that I personally think are way more forward-thinking than the stuff on 36 chambers.

The whole 5%ter thing and the Nation of Islam propaganda sorta throws it off for me.
