Breeze next patch

Slow day, been tossing around the idea of a 1-trick-pony breeze build for next patch...

Max dex in game is 52 (think I'll use 50 since litany and +4 tomes suck to get), so +20 mod.

Weapon dmg breakdown:
3.5 (d6 staff)
5 (staff enchantment)
10 (power attack)
9 (bard song)
2 (fb set)
20 (dex)
==
49.5 * 1.1 (10% crit rate)
==
54.45 weapon dmg

SA dmg breakdown:
35 (10d6 class)
12 (class enhancements)
8 (thranes)
8 (halfling)
20 (dex)
==
83 SA dmg

= 137.45 dmg a hit avg

6 str halfling acrobat ftw? lol. Obviously fortification cuts that minute dps to shreds. Might be viable someday if they epic the orchard and give epic breeze a SoS crit range and multiplier :P

Remember that you get only 1+Dex mod as bonus damage, and only on SA, whereas you get 1.5+Str modifier as damage, so Str is still more important than Dex, i. e. you still have to pump your levelup points(and other efforts) into Str to get the most damage!

And that doesn't even take into consideration that you still need Str to hit...

Not on breeze - it directly replaces DEX for STR for all damage.

Correct. It's worth noting as well that breeze doesn't get 1.5*dex for dmg, even though it should since it's a 2h weapon *sigh*

Worse part is getting the staff. The only one I have is on a WF and I don't think it's worth doing a TR just to change his race.
