What's my Attack Bonus?

Can you see you current attack bonus in one of the windows? I know you can see save bonuses, which are affected by stat multipliers and gear. Can you see how gear combinations affect your bonus to hit? This will help me understand how effects stacks.

There is a thing under your gear that has your ac, to hit, and damage for the first swing, you have higher to hit as you continue the chain, i forget what the bonuses are though, something like norm/norm/+5/+10 iirc

Exactly, which is why he asked this:

So the answer is No.
All you need to know is that bonuses of the same type do not stack. Every bonus is either named with a "type" (enhancement, morale, etc), or is untyped.
All untyped bonuses of differing values will stack, and only the highest bonus of any given type applies.

There is a Wealth of information there, and in the DDOWiki, which will help you ebtter understand stacking in this game.

Quick version: Bonuses with the same name(I.E: Enhancement, Insight, Compotence..Etc) Will not stack with Bonuses of the same name. You will instead get the higher of the bonuses.
