Yeah great game so far, played for a few days, one HUGE problem with you guys.

Monk + Favored soul: 1590 pts... $19.50 = 1550 pts
$19.50/1550pt = $.1258/pt .... 1590pts * $.1258 = $20(+3/10 of a cent)

Get rid of the bull **** token system for purchasing from the DDO store. Cursing is justified here, i don't care if it offends anyone, it properly gets the point across.

If i want to buy 1 thing, I only want to pay for that one thing. This point system drops you guys down to the level of "Korean power grinder" because all the south east asian mmos use this same **** system to rip of customers.

If you aren't willing to drop the token system, let us choose how much we buy to the single digit. you can scale your "bonus" to the amount, the equation will take 1 min to create based off of your current data.

The funny part is you will make more money if you don't make people overpay, because more people will buy things if they don't have to overspend for that one thing they want.

Jk'ing yes its a large ripoff, im surprised that this game didn't turn out like any other ****** mmo right now. It's because the bonus thing they have attracts more people, when really it is a ripoff.

If only this game had WoW premium mechanics, where its only monthly payment + free and the rest of the stuff you grind for, maybe it'd be more fair.

Tip: You get TP for earning Favor. Every 100 points of Favor, you get 25 turbine points. First characters on a server also get bonus points before hitting 100. Create a toon, run it up to 100 Favor, on a server you haven't ran yet. You've just got enough points to just buy Monk and FvS. No extra money spent beyond your $20.

You can hit 100 Favor in a day, so pick a Saturday, roll something, and get to work. There are even groups who do nothing but grind for favor, in order to circumvent paying any money for anything. Find one, and join in for awhile. If you really have time, you can repeatedly run to 100 favor, delete character and start again. Takes a long while to get anywhere doing that, but then it's free, and you can earn enough to buy whatever you want.

this is true. i dont consider TP as equivalent to real money as converting $$=TP to how much you payed for. you pay $19.99 for playing the game, and thats it. because while playing the game you get TP as a reward. you also paid for that because you played the game. so the amount of TP you get for your moneys worth is really up to you.

You're upset because you can't buy two classes at once when you can only play one of them at a time.
Your solution has already been posted as to how to gain your classes by gaining a few more TPs without additional cost. Buy one class & play it to 100 favor, buy the other.

You won't be getting anywhere near that with a F2P, no pack-buying account.

The prices in the DDO store may seem or even be high, but there are sales that bring some things in to a reasonable range. I unlocked monk for free simply by grinding out the bonus favor on all servers.

Really? So, you're complaining because spending $20 is a ripoff to get a class you want, but even after the fact that Turbine is letting you play their game for free? Guess what, get off the easy button horse and work to get your classes for FREE.

Or, you could be a lazy ass and cry because you can't get everything for free up front. (Cursing is justified here as this post is pretty much useless as the OP, being brand new to the game and not having a ****ing clue as to what he's talking about, is crying about spending money he doesn't have to spend).

I just wish I was a vip so I could neg rep you for being abusive in your first post. I understand you don't like the system and that is your opinion but your post screams racism against asians and your comments about I don't care if I offend and swear and cursing is justified to complain about the way they setup their system. You may have a valid point or not but the way you presented was in very poor taste. I would give you a neg rep for it but I can't so I hope others do.

Now about your post. First you should read the forums, and ask questions before complaining so vigilantly about a game. This game has one of the best free setups you can get. I am a F2P player only. I have bought monk, catacombs, STK and am going to get Vale of Twilight soon while it is on sale.

Here is how you can do everything for free. Run one character to about 500 points on a server. That character will give you 275 points. Do that on all 7 servers and you now have 1925 points. Use that points to buy packs. I bought monk as I like to solo and a light based monk can get through many of the quests on elite so he can get to the 500 points faster. If you need more then that then you can add a player on each server run him to 100 points and delete and start again. IT does not take long to get to 100 points and the first quests are fairly easy to run through most.

So saying you can't buy both the fvs and monk with a $19 purchase on it's own is another problem with your post. First you would only be 40 points short so buy the one and then save the points play a character in korthos through all the quests on norm and wehn you get to stromreach you will have your points to buy the other.
However, I don't get your grief. The game only has two special classes. The $19 purchase is not the top purchase so expecting it to be high enough to purchase both of the special classes seems absurd. Another thing you mentioned is we should be able to buy each thing and pay for that only. In that case you would have had to choose between fvs and monk so again you are contradicting your argument.

Anyway, since you like the game you will learn these things and if you don't want to pay you will see you don't need to pay. I don't. I might one day but as of now I am ok with just playing all the stuff I can. If later when I really know the game and want to put money into it i will.

So be patient, don't be abusive toward asians, listen in game and read to learn and you may find your experience here a good one.
