Tempest with a semi-focus on ranged: Capstone or IC Range

I don't know the class very well but thought it would be fun to roll a tempest ranger that has a very nice ranged ability. Would I be better off splashing 2 fighter for IC range or staying pure for the capstone in terms of ranged dps during manyshot?

It depends on how you define good ranged. The capstone haste is nice for an arcane archer type who has lots of extra damage to add to each shot. I prefer the increased crit because I mostly use a stat damaging bow or Silver Longbow and crit is pretty important for both of those.
