what exactly effects blade barrier

search turned up nothing and i've heard things as ridiculous as spell penetration effecting the damage of blade barrier..

what line effects BB's crit chance, crit dmg, and which enhancements if any effect its damage. smiting or healing? void lore or.. whatever that other one is..

havent played in 2 years and trying to get my facts straight before i roll my fvs up..

BB is untyped damage, so there are no enhancements that impact the crit rate or damage.

Potency items/potions for damage.
Arcane or items for crits

Spell pen does nothing for it.

Can a blade barrier be avoided by jumping over? I've jumped over them before but someone told me I probably just saved on an evasion character.

No you cannot jump over them - BB seems to be a sphere (so going "underground" as well) like many other aoe effects, just that the graphics makes you think otherwise.

And any items/abilities that will boost your Evocation DC (to make mobs save less often).

BB being evocation, wouldn't the reflex save DC be effected by an Evocation focus feat or item?

it would effect bb's dc but the OP wanted damage. The only way a evocation item helps a bb's damage is to make mobs save less against it

Unfortunately there is no evocation damage increase. Only elemental and types damage. BB is untyped so it's a potency item, improve the crit range and multiplier using the various ways already suggested.

You don't need spell pen since it's physical force once created, but that's the pnp side of things
