Failed Solo TOD

I've been working on this one too; have you found a way to effectively regain mana in part 1 or part 2 without using potions? I can pretty easily get the Jailer to about 50% on a full bar of mana (and the Judge a decent bit lower, since he kites so much better), but between the heavier, less frequent attacks of the Judge and his spammed fireballs/lightnings, I haven't been able to effectively get mana back after that with Torc + Conc. Opp., even when I had the hellhounds up there as well.

Part two has been causing similar problems for me--simple strategy, but running out of mana with no way to get it back outside of potions.

Next time just do what anyone would do soloing this - Buy more DDO Store mana pots

A couple hundred thousand should do for a solo Epic. It's only a matter of time....

Mmm, I couldn't make it past part 1 the few times I tried (badly timed tosses+chains) but it seems pretty easy otherwise. But you made it past part 2? That musta been one hell of a long, tricky and costly run -- that's a badass achievement in itself, unless there is a sneaky shortcut I don't know about.

Bar 8, slot 2:
Store bought potions - low rez makes it hard to tell but appears to be +2 wisdom.
Screenshots 3 he only has 3 left
Screenshot 4 he has 4.
You can also see at least 50+ regular non-store mana potions were drank. (SS3: 92 left, SS4: 42 left)

PS: My favored soul solo'd this 5 months ago with no pots but I didn't think it was a big deal so I didn't bother to post it or do a screenshot. (inside joke for those who don't know our recent posting history)

I think I may have figured out a way to do this, but it involves having to take care of those elementals first...
I can get the jailer no problem, the judge is a real tough cookie (only had and still only have one deathward clickie.)

Not gonna help, banish stun still gonna hit me, and he tends to bend his pws to make it hit me either way. Gonna be tryin a different approach than using columns.

Inspired by this, I tried to take on a test run to see how it goes in part 1 - at least, and to see how part 2 goes. (Currently the new baby to solo VoD, so still new to this )

I managed to no pot the part 1 bit (but I gather anyone who's trying to solo that bit won't find a problem doing that either. ).

But in part 2, with no sp regeneration AND lag. (Can you believe it? Solo? Lag? It wasn't even like I was trying to DPS the blasted boss.)

Anyway, I really admire you there Teth getting up to part 3.

At my estimate for my build, I'll need to pull out the other 50 Major pots in the bank to even get a crack at part 3.

Oh, and the time needed for part 1 no pot? 45 minutes. So around 3, 3 1/2 hours (if luckily the same for all of them hp wise and survivability) to complete it... Not exactly Ironman run, but definately taxing on the body to sit there at full alert so long.
