I'm a musician. I've had many influences, some of which reside in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH. There are many pioneers however, that do not walk these halls that Elvis Presley and the other grand rock n roll souls forever will.
When you listen to the music, one can wonder HOW these great artists never got their day in the limelight. Like em or not, these musicians, in my opinion, helped shape Rock 'n Roll. To me, the RRHoF just isnt what it could be without these influential musicians.
1. Mountain
Mississippi Queen - One of the most requested Rock songs of all time. Rockband and Guitar Hero made this song a hit all over again, 40+ years after it was first released..
Southbound Train - When a reporter asked Jimi Hendrix who his favorite act was, he named Mountain. When Jimi jammed with Leslie West after Woodstock, it was Jimi who played bass.
Theme For An Imaginary Western - maybe the greatest guitar tone of all time.
2. Kiss
Rock and Roll All Night - Live in Japan.... Made in America. Need I say more?
God of Thunder - These guys were WAY before their time. Kiss takes playing an axe to a WHOLE nother level.
Beth - When hard rock meets the rock ballad, you go to this ditty.
3. Moody Blues
Nights in White Satin
Tuesday Afternoon
I'm Just a Singer in a Rock n Roll Band
4. Grand Funk Railroad
5. Stevie Ray Vaughn
Pride and Joy
Midnight hour - with the legendary BB King, Etta James, Billy Ocean, Gladys Knight. Respect your pioneers, baby.
Sweet Home Chicago - SRV,Buddy Guy Eric Clapton, Robert Cray and Jimmie Vaughan playing Sweet Home Chicago live at Alpine Valley this is the last song Stevie Ray Vaughan (R.I.P) ever played!
The Loss of SRV -
My lil tribute to one of the greatest guitarists that ever lived. Wake up RRHoF, there's a few artists that need to get out of the cold.
6. Alice Cooper
7. Rush
8. Heart
9. Ten Years After
10. Aaron Neville
I'd love to know if anyone listens to musicians that
you feel should be in the Hall.
