Gryn, definitely, without question here is how con-op stacking works based on my own tests and those of other reputable posters:

1 worn item + 1 weapon + torc all stack. Nothing else will stack. Period.

I just finished reading a VERY long thread and I came to the same conclusion. I was a little too hasty posting the previous post.

The following post pretty much sums it up for me.

Thanks for the reply though. I'm so glad I got this out of the way before I actually started crafting the second one. Imagine the dissapointment!

72.0 Possible intimidate in the future.
Unless you're no-fail with intimidate, it's nothing to be proud of. You need to aim higher for elite Xyzzy (79+1d20) and epic Lailat (78+1d20) if you want to be counted upon as an intimitank.

Check out how it's done: http://my.ddo.com/character/orien/eracia

She intimitanks epic DQ every three days flawlessly.

So, because he can't get enough intimidate to tank elite hound and eDQ he shouldn't try to get enough to tank most of the raids in the game on hard or elite?

How does your buddy do in ToD elite? Pretty **** reflex and lowish hp. Maybe they should reroll too.

Aim higher. If you're going to bother to market yourself as an intimitank, then you better be able to step up and get the job done when it matters. Elite Xyzzy and Epic Lailat are where being an intimitank is useful. Not that any content in DDO requires an intimitank, it just trivializes certain encounters.

My buddy solo tanks elite Suulo resiliently without Waves of Exhaustion. Intimitank + self healing + Torc + con copp = energizer bunny. No point in her intimtanking Horoth. Any of the barbarians I run with (including me) hate tank Horoth effortlessly just by DPSing.

I don't claim it's the best intimitank out there and naturally there are way better intimitanks.

The goal of this excercise was to add intimidate to a level 20 pure favored soul. I didn't want to loose any fvs levels because of the capstone DR. The build you posted earlier was a 17fvs/something split. He doesn't even have mass heal! What kind of a healer is that

My main job in most of the raids will still be raid healing and off-dps. With close to 3000 mana and everything a cleric needs, he can keep a shroud gang alive solo. On another note, he can and has successfully hate-tanked many of the raid bosses so the DPS aint too shabby as well.

600+ hps, 37 DR and 60+ intimidate just add to the flavor.

EDIT: As you can see the name of the thread is Intimihealer. Not "The best intimitank out there".

You called this build a "raidhealing intimitank". You're not an intimitank if you can't intimidate raid bosses.

Following your logic, we shouldn't be calling spaceships spaceships since we can't fly to other stars yet? It's a ship that goes into space, it's not a quesion of how far it goes.

Once again, pressing on the bits you conveniently left out
    - it can intimidate most of the raid bosses with 61 raidbuffed or 67 with some pots on (and I do have pots for such cases). It can't intimidate epic DQ, I give you that. On the other hand, when I look at my playing schedule, I doubt I will ever see a successful epic DQ raid or a successful elite ToD.
    - like I already said before, it's not the best intimitank out there. It's a raidhealing intimitank with emphasis on the raidhealing bit but he can also offtank scraps and raidbosses when needed.
    - the primary job of this character will still be healing in most of the raids and providing a steady DPS. Intimidate is taken for having some fun when I get tired of sitting back, spamming that mass heal key.

Yes, hate tanking is the way to go. A WF fvs can also hate tank any of the raid bosses. Having 60+ intimidate is just really useful for a healer with high dr. Maybe he isn't going to go out and intim elite and epic content, but he can run in pugs and be confident that he'll get his completion. If he's lucky he'll teach one or two of them to not suck so bad in the future.

How about, stop complaining that he isn't an intimitank and offer a suggestion for him to increase his intim.

My FvS timmytank is my favorite toon right now! TR'd my beloved cleric into a 19 FvS/1 Fighter and she is so fun to play! Being main healer and timmy frees up a slot for an extra DPS... no long waits for a timmy or a healer...you got both!! Intim right now at 18 is a 65 without buffs...most fun ever

I'll second the comment that it depends on what you're wanting to intimidate. Based on this thread you could do Orthons in VoD, Demon Queen (though not epic), Suulo normal, the big dragon in Mired on elite, and Stormreaver. Also, from my experience with much less intimidate standing (I have my +6 str and +13 intim items competing for the same slot atm) I can pretty reliably intimidate trash just relying on a 22cha, +5 cha skills gs, and full ranks in intim on my paladin. So by my count that would be level + 14. I've tested it up to level 17 so far (31 standing intim pre-buffs) and had pretty good success. If I've got squishies in the group I'll put intim into the spot I normally use to refresh divine might and hit it whenever a decent sized wave of enemies come in. I rarely see a resist. Intim's not a focus for my build at this point but it shows that it can be a useful skill without putting in any focus.

You replied to about a year old question. I got the intimidate up to 64 now and that should be enough for most of the raids. I can knock it up by another 6 points with pots if I really have to.

EDIT: Thanks for the link though! Very useful
