    Default Dragons Lawfully Good?

Even though fighting a dragon would be interesting. It would be nice to see a realm with quests helping dragons also. Maybe offer a pet mini dragon to have on the guild ships or to call as a helper (not as a monster), for those who complete these quests on elite. I always pictured Dragons being very old, wise, powerful, and intelligent.

    The Big ones are.

and there is a Quest in the Reafers Refuge (yes the area with the lotterie where only few people run quests) where you have to help a Dragon you already should know... (quest Name is Prey of the Hunter)

Not surehow eberron feels about it, but chromatic dragons are naturally EVIL, we've yet to see a metallic dragon (naturally good) in DDO....aren't the agents of argonossen dragons in mortal form? (As dragons are wont to do)

edit: Chromatic dragons are often known for their intellect, but for a bit of a lack of wisdom due to their immense pride, though white dragons are the least intelligent of chromatic ones, Metallic ones are more known for their benevolence, wit and insight.

The red dragon in Von6 that we kill was actually trying to save us (oops)

The blue 'elf like' women who gives you the GH quest series is actually a blue dragon in disguise, student of the red we killed.

Her friend who gives out the Reavers Refuge quests is also probably a dragon, although I don't believe we know that we certainty.

And of course we save a white dragon in Korthos and then again in Reavers Refuge.

Having a dragon as a pet is offensive to dragons. Even their young match us in wisdomn and IQ and you would be slaughtered by any dragon for that offense.

Alignment is more 'flexible' in eberron, as you will note from all the 'good' aligned drow running around town.

Yup. Once upon a time we were given lore background before new mods were released. The offiical story line for GH included the background I gave above (that's how I know she is the student of Velah). She came to investigate her teacher's disappearance and based on what she found, continue her work.

    Default Gold Dragons

Read some article about Gold Dragons in D&D who are mostly lawfully good and don't like fighting. If it is able to fit in the Eberron type of setting that would make for some interesting adventure quests. And these do shape shift to human form of a helper or scholar and show themselves as their true form to who receive their trust (favor) Maybe in the future?? :-)

If you actually look at the number of people (17+) wearing dragon touched armor vs the number of people who say they boycott the lottery and such. You will find that a lot of people lie on the forums.

Well Korthos for sure... Reavers well that depends if it's +2 loot or not.

On Eberron there could be good chromatic dragons and evil metalic ones

When I duel someone I like to dual wield. with my rouge wearing rogue.

This is absolutely correct. While even in traditional D&D worlds drow could still be good, dragons were static in their alignment.

Having a pet dragon sounds like a bad idea. A dragon city sounds like the perfect place to base a new lv 20 only town in, with epic quest givers and a new raid.

Well pet not exactly, it would be a hireling but bound to account or you. maybe use crafting to make the dragon stronger or ? Kinda see caverns with big nests with eggs and hatchlings they protect. knowledge would be held in crystals not books. not under ground but high up in the mountains above the clouds.
