Default Add Force Crit to Handwraps?

I got a pair of +1 Seeker Handwraps of Pure Good the other day. I have the stuff to do the Force Crit. Ritual, and was thinking of doing that with these handwraps.

    1. Is it even possible? Why I ask is b/c Seeker Handwraps already have a +4 enhancement to confirm cirtical hits, and a +4 enhancement to critical hit damage. My worry is that the force crit wouldn't stack, and I would be wasting the material.

    2. Is it advisable? If I were to add the force crit, it seems like it would only be doing - at best - another +4 in damage (force crit does 1d4). Will that even make a noticable difference?

I am a noob to this crafting thing. That's why it might sound like I don't know what I am doing! Any help is welcome!

    It is possible, but:

Because of the poor crit profile of handwraps, the Force ritual is better. Force crit is best reserved for rapiers/kukris/scimitars. And IMO, those wraps are not worth crafting on. Save the ingredients for something you'll be using at endgame.

I haven't tried the force crit, but I can tell you the force damage does not work with handwraps.

Thanks for the response. So are those wraps worth keeping, or are they just junk? They are the only pure good wraps I have atm, so that's why I haven't junked them.

Oh, and wish I had the stuff for force damage - those mushrooms need for it seem to be pretty rare.

I've heard that the Eldritch rituals do indeed work on Handwraps, but there's a quirk in that in order to make it apply, you have to crunch them twice:

    1. Apply the ritual.
    2. Clear the stone.
    3. Put the handwraps back in by themselves and combine.

    Then they should work.

I would try to find a 5% weighted pair of handwraps and add the force crit to those wraps. Once the monster is stunned from the weighted it auto crits, so the force crit would be more beneficial. Add force damage to a pait of metaline of PG or a pair of greater construct bane weapons. Just my two cents.
