    I read a short story a long time ago .. cant remember the name or much about it but i do remember this.

    "Soy Sauce" from "John Dies at the End." Coolest fictional substance ever.

    That's an amazing novel that started out free online, though now it's also sold as a book and I heard it will be made into a movie. It's horror/comedy, and the plot centers around this drug they call soy sauce which allows people to see things from other dimensions - very messed-up things. As a side effect, it increases people's deduction and perception and allows them to figure out things they'd have no way of knowing. For example, they can tell what dreams a person had last night from the expression on his face.
