PMB.exe error???

So i wanted to try this game with my friend but i had a PMB.exe - entry point not found. It also said i had a connection error and that i couldnt connect to the servers? (mind you im still downloading at this point)...my only assumption is that Steam is giving me the same trouble (not sure if you guys know what that is) and it says i cant connect to the steam network even though my internet is fine and iv used steam for years so HOPEFULLY once it fixes itself somehow..(already tried the plug/unplug router thing) then the DDO installer will work.

Yea. A lot of people have been having problems with a PMB error of some sort mainly because DDO is now using Pando Media Booster to download the game, rather than Turbine. I suggest either going to http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/ and changing your DNS according to the configuration intructions which may or may not work...or at the very least...try downloading from an other source.
