Ultimega - Ultimegus - Uggolla - Intell
***** SPOILER ALERT *****
Poor Jin and Sun. Now their daughter has neither a father nor a mother.
Sayid pretty much had to die though.
I didn't quite hear or understand what Sayid said to Jack right before he took off with the bomb though. I guess I'll have to watch it again on ABC's website later tonight.
Sayid: Listen carefully. There's a well on the main island, half a mile south from the camp we just left. Desmond's inside it. Locke wants him dead, which means
you're going to need him. Do you understand me?
Jack: Why are you telling me this?
Sayid: Because it's going to be you, Jack.

Great finale, but one question remains.
Who killed JR?![]()
***************** SPOILERS AHEAD *****************
After working the events of last night out in my head, I figured out what really happened:
The stuff that happened on the Island actually happened. It was the stuff in the Sideways reality that was the "dream" or in other words, the events that happened in the "Alternate Timeline" actually happened in "Purgatory."
The folks who said everyone was dead in the initial plane crash in the first episode were wrong!
Yep pretty much what I believe. Everyone who died did it when they showed it, not in the initial crash. Hurley protected the island and the others who got on the plane lived on long after the end, but like Christian said (I think) everyone dies eventually.

Pretty much sums up what I was thinking. All in all, I wasn't disappointed with how things went. Too many Red Herrings to make everyone happy and I felt good at the end.
So, what is the Island? Doesn't really matter does it? The story wasn't really about the Island, but about the people and their lives together. The back drop was nice and kept us guessing through 6 seasons, but the characters are really what made the show. And That is what makes good storytelling IMO.
