    Default Necrogue-viable 12/6/2 split?

So I am thinking about making a palemaster rogue my dillema is that palemaster for most things get really horrid reviews except from those people who have multiclassed it

I chose Drow with Int,Dex, and Charisma high...8 str and only 10 con and wis. A gamble sure.

I know I want at least 12 in wizard for wraith form. I want at least 2 in rogue for evasion.

What should I do with the 6 other levels, how do I distribute them?

I am thinking about taking a melee class and turning it around to focus on ranged just to have more hps.

Let's say you had to make this build. How would you do it?

    12 Wizard/6 Fighter/2 Rogue(or 2 monk if you dont care about traps)

    Race-Elf
Stats-14 Str, 18 Dex, 14 Con, 14 Int, 8 and 8. Something along those lines.
Feats-Toughness, Point Blank Shot, Ranged Focus, Bow Strength, Rapid Shot, Manyshot, Improved/Precise shot, 1 Extra(2 Extra if monk and you can go twf, itwf, gtwf).

Wizard Feats-Extend, SF Necro, GSF Necro.

This is how I would build a Ranged Palemaster

Went more Bow for ranged b/c spell wise without DC/SP you are a little lacking in dps so use yer sp for buffs.

Now what I'd do is make a WF 12 Wizard/6 Fighter/2 Monk, Go a more melee route and use the melee effects you get from the forms while Hand to Hand.

What a stupid ruling, we all know that D&D promotes satanism, not gangs.

    The Wraithforged

Just found this myself - it seems that the build hinges on a change to the Palemaster in Update 5 that will allow self healing.

It's hard for me to build a melee wizard who's reluctant to go into combat, so I'm going to wait to see what changes he is referring to.

    Correction
I posted build before they announced new spells were coming, as such, I don't recommend making it until we see what the changes are. I still think the build will work, even better when you can heal yourself in wraith form.

Splash 6 levels of Wizard onto that for the 12WIZ/6WIZ/2ROG for the most effective character and I would suggest WF...but Drow COULD Work.

But really this seriously could be a super fun build, but takes LOTSA gearing and EXTREMELY good play for it to work. If you have the resources to make this work...then go for it. I would almost recommend this as a TRed Toon so it has Greensteel already and etc...

Check out Phid's "Precious" build or "Gemstone". I am not sure which, but he does really well with these type of builds. BUT maybe 5% of the general DDO population can pull this off. Just be warned...you will be soloing a lot.

BUT you can definitely have fun with these type of builds.
