    Default Weapon naming

This suggestion adds absolutely nothing to the game. It would be a fun kind of thing. It may or may not be possible, and I am not sure of all the interactions that would be involved. I am just throwing it out because I think it would be cool to do this.

Add an optional crafting rule for GS weapons that allow you to name them, after they have tier III. Imagine fighting Harry with "Sweetness" and "Chopper" the GS Dorf axes. My monk could have GS Handwraps called "FEWL-YOU-GET-NO-HANDWRAPS". I just cried a little inside.

I suppose that names could be abused in some manner. I also assume that it is not as easy to code as one would think.

Then lets kill all 12 year olds. We get naming, and their parents get rid of them before they become a teen and breed...win-win

Lol. As a parent that has had one leave for college, they aren't sooo bad.

    I feel your pain.

Perhaps the community can come up with weapon and item names and submit them to Turbine. Then they can load them in and we can select from a list. Then Turbine can weed out the naughty and/or copywrited material that is sure to be suggested. This should be far easier to impliment then programming the ability to code your own name.

IIRC, there's already a filter to character names. I seem to recall trying a name of a NPC I have in my game I've been working on, and getting a blocked name (as opposed to name in use) message.

It's be a lot of work though to add in the myriad obscene things you can type up with the standard alphabet. Forget the innuendos that aren't as obvious.

    Hold onto this -
For a couple of years they can drive you home if you drink at a restaurant. Somehow, that makes it worth it. Then they leave, and you have money again. A lot of money. I had no idea how much he cost.
