Help please.

I'm new at this game and just recently downloaded it because me and my mom saw it as a very interesting game. But at the moment my internet explorer is down and in result of that nothing that runs of internet explorer is working. Now when I try to run this game it runs off of internet explorer, and I can't get the updates and so on, and it won't let me log on and play the game. I was wondering is there a way to get the game to run off of Mozilla Firefox instead of internet explorer?
