Was planning on 13rog/6 mo/1 ftr.
Question: Am I loosing anything by not taking 7 lvls of monk besides "Wholeness of body?"

Extra feat and 14 more HP is my guess. So 36 HP if you have nothing better to do with the feat and use it to swap a martial feat that would have been taken normally for toughness.
Yeah, the fighter lvl was for Hp, but does it not also increase my fort save?
Yes, since 7th level is one where monks recieve no save increase, 1 Ftr raises your fort save by 2 compared to taking monk7, And I guess you could use the feat you'd be able to shake loose for Luck of Heroes, Lightning Reflexes, Iron Will, or Great Fortitude instead of toughness, but I don't think any of those is a better choice unless you're looking at a benchmark save you're close to hitting.
How good is Wholeness of Body? Seems to me self-healing is more useful than extra HPs and 1 feat, but I haven't leveled a monk that high before.
wholeness of body is less necessary when running with groups as people wont wait for you to regain HP & just sling a healing spell on you instead. when soloing, its awesome & HP-wise can be the equivalent of a full Heal spell.
If you're making the character a halfling though you may well have the feats to spare to fit the whole dragonmark chain in, which will render wholeness unnecessary anyway & at lower levels your sheer awesomeness will let you pretty much carry groups until level 10 or so![]()
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.
Na, we've got a whole halfling community in the guild haha. Dorf is my style, so I think the hp is good choice. Just wondered since I have limited experience with monk if it'd make much of a difference or not. Thanks for the replys and backing up what I'd already assumed guys.
Peace, love, and hot sauce!
