Hi,
I've been noticing some problems with packet loss, particularly in high DPS situations (ToD, etc), making things unplayable. In a raid instance like shroud or ToD packet loss can be up to 15%, even in public instances a small amount of packet loss occurs making it a pain moving around. Here's an MTR test I ran to gls.ddo.com:
As you can see the packet loss doesn't get really bad until it's within Tinet's network who I think are the international carrier.Code:Host Loss% Snt Last Avg Best Wrst StDev 1. 0.0% 199 4.2 58.5 1.3 105.8 29.4 2. 0.0% 199 23.1 23.8 21.7 35.5 2.5 3. 0.0% 199 23.3 23.9 22.1 35.2 2.2 4. 0.0% 199 28.8 29.9 28.7 40.1 1.6 5. 0.0% 199 28.7 29.8 28.2 49.3 2.2 6. 213.120.157.178 0.0% 199 30.2 30.2 28.1 95.0 5.1 7. acc1-10GigE-0-2-0.mr.21cn-ipp.bt.net 1.0% 198 28.4 91.8 28.4 11603 826.5 8. 109.159.250.5 5.0% 198 35.5 77.4 34.9 7675. 557.1 9. transit2-xe-1-1-0.ilford.ukcore.bt.net 1.0% 198 35.4 37.6 34.2 76.8 6.3 10. t2c2-ge14-0-0.uk-ilf.eu.bt.net 4.0% 198 36.6 36.2 34.7 46.9 1.5 11. t2c1-p3-0.uk-lon1.eu.bt.net 0.0% 198 36.1 36.1 34.5 43.2 0.9 12. t2a1-ge4-0-0.uk-lon1.eu.bt.net 0.0% 198 34.6 36.4 34.6 51.5 2.0 13. 166-49-211-38.eu.bt.net 0.0% 198 35.2 38.7 34.8 89.9 9.1 14. xe-1-2-0.bos10.ip4.tinet.net 5.0% 198 119.4 115.8 112.5 155.3 6.2 15. internap-gw.ip4.tinet.net 94.9% 198 111.0 111.9 110.6 117.1 1.9 16. border1.te7-1-bbnet1.bsn003.pnap.net 97.0% 198 111.8 115.6 111.5 128.4 6.4 17. turbine-6.border1.bsn003.pnap.net 8.1% 198 119.6 112.3 110.4 125.6 1.9 18. 74.201.102.154 93.9% 198 112.9 112.9 111.4 116.8 1.5 19. 74.201.102.13 94.9% 198 111.4 115.4 111.4 131.3 6.1
Does anyone else have a problem like this at the moment or any advice as to what we can do about it?
