I got a +5 metalline of pg maul rr halfling last night on a shroud run. I have never used a maul before. I have played long enough to know that +5 metaline of pg is desirable, but not long enough to know much about mauls.

Yes, of course it is ... that is a pre min II devil beater, SoS Beater (vertically challenged or umd required) but even for a non-thf build with martial weapons the maul is an excellent weapon ... even when you're not spec'd IC: Blunt... Nice maul
