Default Turbine Points / Packs or Shared Bank

Hello all, I was hoping you could help me decide what to do with my TP. I am FTP and I bought deleras, TR, GH, and vail, I have enough TP for some more packs but the shared account would be real nice. My question is, would the shared accound be worth spending my last TP on, or should I buy some more higher lvl packs?

    Thanks

I'm not F2P, but my guess would be that more packs = more TP? Shared bank seems like more of a fluff item that you can hold out on. Another pack would mean more xp, access to more named items, more favor, and more TP.

I'm premium too, and I have bought many adventure packs. Some of them were completely unnecessary, as there is too much content to do for your level. I have some adventure areas I bought that I just don't frequent anymore, because once I've done all the other cool stuff, i'm already too highlevel for it.

I have bought the shared bank too, and I love it. It's extra storage space, and it allows for eq transfering of items that are bound to account, between your chars. I'd say go for the bankspace, if you're sure that in the next few levels, you can still do other adventures. If you have nothing above level 12 for adventure packs for example, I'd look into that first, so you're sure you can still level up then .

    Shared Bank costs too much.
It's hard to justify buying it unless you are VIP or farming epics and need to move seals/shards between toons.

Packs on the other hand are always good: more fun, more exp, more loot, more stuff to do.

He doesn't have VON listed for lower level or Amarath for higher content. Both yield good items for end game now with Epic VON, although getting rings can be a PITA.

I agree with you on the more content is good, but one thing you're forgetting is that the shared bank slots work great with a haggle bard. It's alot less time consuming to drop everything into you shared bank for your haggle bard to pick up than it is for you to mail every item one at a time, and some sort of haggle toon should be in everyone's inventory of toons, you can't go wrong with PP.

But I'd still go with the packs first, you need to be able to get the loot before you can transfer it.

When you eventually go through TR you wil be glad to have more content to get xp from but if you are new to the game thats not immediate. However think of it this way, if you are new and you like to solo on casual or normal then more content will allow you to go further doing that instead of looking for groups for hard or elite. However you will need to make buying adventure packs for the higher levels priority if you want to progress that toon.

There's quite a bit of Bound to Account stuff that makes for great twink gear
for your next char. Since Bound stuff never takes permanent damage, you can pass
it down, and pass it down...

OP, IMHO.....buy the packs first. Get the bank later.

One thing to consider OP is how bad of an Altoholic are you? Me, I am a supreme Altoholic, so a shared bank is "almost" a neccesity. You may not be. You may be fine with a couple of core characters and not having to worry about bringing up a lowbie.

It's all preference really...both in whether you get packs or shared bank, and which packs you buy.

    Quoted for Truth.

I'm also an altoholic, and some of the quest end rewards are worth hanging onto for lowbies (if they aren't bound to character as the korthos set rewards are anyway). Ditto for the lower level eldritch crafting collectibles and resist/protect pots since you find a ton of them and some toons just don't need them as they get the spells or can use wands etc.

BUT - more adventure packs = more favour = more TPs with which you buy your shared content. Do the 100favour grind with as many toons as you can on as many off-servers as you can, and the TPs soon rack up.

    Hi. Another Altaholic here.

The shared bank was the best thing that ever happened to me. My only problem now is never being able to keep any empty slots in my shared bank slots. It is like the shared bank slots have taken on a life of their own and whatever is in there is what my "bank character*" has equipped.

    * - not to be confused with my mule character, which is yet another of my many alts.
