Default Best Combo for overall stat damage disable

I did some search around the forum, but I coudln't find any post for this.

Should you just have different sets for different stat damage or do a combo of different stat damage?

Go pure stat damage or combination of debuff and stat damage?

I'm kinda poor so I want to save up for a nice one set of weapons. I like high + to hit weapons, so thinking of even Improved Destruction Combo off hand stat damage.

Anyway, I would like to hear your thoughts, I'm just curious really.

Just for info I have +19 to hit with self buff and level 11 multi class (dual khopesh).

I really like maldroit weapons because it reduces their AC and usually gets you to auto-crit faster because dex "tends" to be a dump stat on most critters in the game. Just be sure to have some nice heavy and light bursting picks to switch to as soon as auto-crit sets in.

I like any type of STR draining effect. These types of effects are really cheap, but they work.

    1. Melees-Drained STR means they can't hit you.
    2. Arcane Casters-Their STR is already very low and draining that STR to 0 makes them helpless.
    3. Divine Caster- See "Arcane Casters" clause.

There are a ton of different ways that you could go with weapons. High DPS weapons, STAT draining weapons,
One hit KO weapons-the best advice I can offer is to experiment for yourself and see what works best for you.

I would love to experiment, but I'm a recent returning player and I am super poor! XD
Thanks for the advice though. Dex or str don't sound too bad. Also another question. If you dual wield 5% weighted weapon or dual vorporal, would that be better or stat damage? I don't think you can block the weighted stun can you?

I'm gonna check, but correct me if I am wrong about weighted.

Weighted 5%: This effect gives a 5% chance to stun the target for each attack that does damage. In addition, this effect gives a +10 bonus to the DC to resist the characters Stunning Blow attempts.

Doesn't look like there's a save chance in there.

I love weighted on my monk.
Just seeing mobs become immobile and ready to be auto-crited makes me feel warm inside. :P

Just remember that some critters that have a very high strength can still do damage to you because they have a hidden modifier to their base damage. For instance, go drain an Ogre down to zero strength (when auto-crits set in) and stand there. They will still do damage to you.

One combo I love is a set of Bodyfeeder of Enfeebling rapiers, scimitars or kukris. The enfeebling drops the amount of incoming damage, and the bodyfeeder procs so often that it basically acts like a 15/- dr. After just a few hits of the Enfeebling, mobs have a very hard time overcoming the bodyfeeder supplied hp.

Not the fastest way to slice through mobs, but certainly nice if you are taking something on solo or without healing and want to mitigate damage.

Thanks for the advice everyone . Whats the expert take on curse weapons ?
What about if you are in a duo with a caster and you use shatter mantle weapons ?

Improved Cursespewing should be paired with a weapon like a Paralyzer or Disruptor; both of these effects are based off of DCs, and therefore have synergy. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Improved Cursespewing is a nice prefix, though.

Shattermantle isn't that much of a deal, excluding some niche quests. Still worth having on you when needed.

The best stat damage combo is probably a Rogue 13+ with Crippling Strike, dual wielding Weakening of Puncturing rapiers. Crippling Strike and Weakening will rapidly reduce the mob's STR. Once the mob hits 0 STR, every strike is a critical hit. Rapiers already crit often (15-20), and stacking autocrits upon that makes it--probably--the best combo.

I love Weakening bows with manyshot though. Nice, cheap way to bring down most caster targets who self-heal alot and are far off on ledges to hit with a Vorpal melee weapon.
