    Default Defensive Assault Dwarf?

What do you all think of this build as it applies to today's updates and vs. newer build options? It will remain solid fundamentally but this was before WF and etc, I'm thinking dwarf hiding behind tower shield (or not) and beating away with MinII dwarven axe but AC tanking.

    noobage bad link sorry

EDIT: AC Tanking is really what i meant to put in subject

...there's so much wrong with that build that I barely know where to begin. To start off, Whirlwind Attack is pants, drop it. Never take Swim, and definately take Intimidate if you're an AC tank.

Mobility, Spring Attack and Whirlwind are almost entirely worthless. Dodge is of marginal value. As a dwarven fighter, you're going to want a higher starting Dex since down the road a big part of your AC advantage will come from being able to squeeze more Dex into your armor (possible up to 8 above whatever the normal max Dex is for your heavy armor--usually 1, for a total of 9 possible with most full-plate). Also, having a DPS option would be really good, such as the TWF feat chain.

Cha is a little low for a build that wants intimidate, but probably can't be helped.. Con is kinda low. Int is kinda high. Str is probably too high for this kind of build.

    28 pts I'd go:
    Str 16
Dex 16 (15 if you have a +2 Dex tome; need +1 tome for TWF, or +2 if start with 15)
    Con 14
Int 12 (need +1 tome for CE)
Wis 8 (Will saves are going to BLOW early on, but not much to be done).
Cha 6 (8 if you have a +2 Dex tome)

I'd consider grabbing Iron Will in the first few levels, and swapping it out later for something else.

You're going to want Toughness kind of early, since +10 HP makes a real difference.
