Something is strange here. How can elite VOD have a higher requirement then elite TOD ? Shouldn't tod just be vod +4 because of the perma gh ?

So I'm guessing there's no way to write the combat log to a file..
I'd love to add to this thread, but I doubt I'll have much luck getting help by putting up an LFM stating that I need people to just heal me and stand around while I switch gear around and test intimidate and AC on raid bosses.![]()

Did it last week with a 77 intimidate skill (human) and failed on a 4. I lost the fraps, but checked the combat log immediately and it did say something like 65+4: fail (it's size-adjusted, so actually 77+4: fail). This would suggest a 82 DC (though i did not roll a 5 to confirm)

Great thread! Has the Chronoscope Intimidate DCs been determined? Specifically for Epic?
Chrono intimi on epic:
Didn't fail on 55 on my wf evasion intimi (non-size-adjusted)
Sally in ToD on hard is 62, i think (non-size adjusted)
But need to test further
Does intimidate work properly like it used to again now?
I haven't tested it since it stopped guaranteeing aggro for the cooldown duration on a successful attempt, around the time of the half-bloods update.
For me it only made sense running intimitank when you could hold aggro through all other melee attacks by repeatedly performing a successful intimidate check after each cooldown of the timer.
If it's still broken, an intimitank is just a wasted DPS slot.
wonder same question as above...anybody can answer..or should I go try it myself
Fairytales don't teach us that dragons exist, but rather that dragons can be beaten.
Was in a VoD about a... week? ago. The intimitank couldn't hold aggro while successfully intimidating Suulu, he'd turn around about 1 second before the intimi cooldown refreshed, we ended up having a barb tanking it.

I have noticed that if you wait about 1 second after your intim skill cools down and then hit it you will not lose agro and they will not turn. This has worked for me for ~ 2 weeks of tanking every raid (that needs to be tanked) and keeping them on timer.
If someone else could confirm if i have been lucky or if you wait 7 seconds instead of 6 fixes the bug would be great.

Hm, I've had more succes with 'lazy' intimidating also, i press it again about 0.3 seconds after it expires. That way you do lose aggro for half a second, but otherwise i've had situations where the timer did trigger but the intimidate didnt get through and there was 6 seconds of chaos
This isn't good enough.
If you can't hold aggro and stop the mob spinning you're not tanking.
Every time suulomades or horoth spins people get damaged/curses/badges.
If a threat tank can hold aggro over the other melee, then they are the only choice of tank anymore in raids.
I don't buy into this 'special method' for getting intimidate to work, it's too risky and the fact that it used to work fairly flawlessly before tells me it's bugged and needs fixing.
I've decided to LR my intimitank because they are now obsolete.
I should clarify, when i wait ~1 second after the timer and reactivate it i have yet to see any boss turn and attack the party.
Just checked the wiki again and i miss read, i thought the cool down was 6 seconds and intim lasted 7 seconds. It would appear that i have just been really lucky with agro control.
So is meeting the 'magic number' still required for a no-fail intimidate?
Would you still need 79 Intimidate to keep an Epic Lailat on you?
Or could you give the other melee's a small headway and use their threat with the bonus you get from Intimidate to lock a boss down for the rest of the raid?
How does it work now?
