Lowest non-zero XP on a favor run

Two days ago my Ranger 9 mopped up a few Korthos quests on Elite -- for favors of course, I expected to get no experience from them. Two surprises -- one, I actually got 200-odd XP for breaking 400 Slayer on Korthos. Two, when I killed Arcane Skeleton in "Sacrifices" (first time I ever saw it), I got 2 experience points. That's right, zero for the quest as a whole, but 2 XP(!) for the optional. Has anyone ever gotten 1 XP for completing a quest?

BTW, what CR is that skeleton on Elite? I heard it is the single most dangerous mob on Korthos, but did not catch its info before smashing it to bits.

On a related note, this ranger is right now 27 xp away from next rank. What in your opinion is the shortest quest she can do and actually get few dozen XP for? Obviously at level 9 she gets nothing from Haverdasher, Durk's Secret, and the like. The shortest actually worth something I can think of is Purge the Heretics on Normal.

You can probably kill the mobs on the way to the Threnal Excavation

Those poor first giants were what most people used to kill to level every time a new level cap was introduced.

You can always get XP from any of the explorer areas, even if you are way over level.
That's how I leveled all my 16's to 17, went into the explorer off from the market place and found the first explorer area (can't have done it before though)

However, your two ideas suggest to me what probably is shortest worhtwhile run for a level 9 toon -- dark elves in the Shrouded Vale (on the way to Faithful Departed). Five minutes, and couple hundred XP.

Will check out Threnal soon though.

I never did Threnal, so did not know that.

It used to be that you would get XP in Threnal there for doing little individual good deeds, not "kill X number of critters" things. This was before the explorer zones of today. One of the good deeds was killing that first giant, thus saving the campsite. Since it takes like 2 seconds it was what folks would do to earn that 1 XP when the level cap was raised from 10, 12, and 14.

Any slayer area you havent touch can get you quick xp
