    Default Palemaster Rogue?

With this new interest in wizard rogues sweeping across the forums I was wondering if taking advantage of wraithform as a rogue would have some benefits to say sneak attack or zipping through traps in order to disable. I haven't played a palemaster before so I was just curious.

Would it be possible to be an effective palemaster/asassin?

Wraith form requires pale master II, so 12 wizard levels, which means you can only go to assassin I, which isn't nearly as cool as II or III.

Roguezards in general are great fun, though I really wish I had the skill points to invest in stealth skills.

I've seen some combat roguezards who only go to 5 or 7 wiz, but most take 2 levels of rogue, the rest wizard, for crazy spell-slinging action and trapsmithing.

The worst part about the pale master is that currently it makes you virtually immune to healing...

The Wraith form doesn't have any benefit to getting through traps, but the lich form gives you +4 Con and +4 Int so you'd have 40 more HP, +2 to your Reflex save (presuming you took Insightful Reflexes), and +2 to your Search/Disable skills.

I think there's quite a few people who would say that Pale Master and Assasin are sub-optimal by themselves, which makes it even worse if you combine them. I've never played either so I can't say from personal experience.

    +4 intelligence? You're out of date. It's +2.

PS. Potentially the Wraith incorporeality could apply to some traps.

Not so much out of date as out of touch - I was using the wiki for my information... I did specify that I've never tried PM.

I thought the Wraith form didn't stack with blur/displacement...
