Ive seen a few of these pop up recently. I have to say I dont see the draw to em. If you dont want to fw end game I guess its ok, but you need hotter fw end game then what 7 caster levels buy you.

Maybe check out tukaws (i think its tukaw) 16 sorc melee. I think its 16/2/2 paly rog. At 16 you can get fairly hot firewalls, and you can still do some solid meleing with the right gear. I think his build is thf though.
