    bumb as it is a very good build

    any HOrc conversion??? i like the Blitz idea, but HOrcs are well suited to 2hf

    I generally just ignore that stuff, modify stats for even numbers.

    None of these builds are built with anything other than a small portion (now) of the player base in mind when it comes to gear. They are viable however in some cases to newer players. A good build, is still a good build. It may require enhancement modifications & feat variation slightly to manage the difference, but in most cases they'll still outperform a stock class. DDO: Where the sum of the parts is greater than the whole.

    I tr -ed into this build and I was wondering if it is worth it to fit in the 3rd lvl past life feat? sorry for double post, but this build seems ot have many threads about it.

    As a noob, my assumption is the standard mo of this build is to get the best stunning maul you can find and beat to stun something, then swap to your great axe for the auto crit. Am I on the right path or still need to wipe off some noobsause?

    Apart from the race change, a couple of tweaks based on my personal preferences:

    • More INT for extra skill pts; had to sacrifice WIS though. [Could also sacrifice DEX instead.]
    • Took barb 1 sooner for run speed boost and +1 barb PA enh early; delays a couple of feats by 1 lvl.

    My only concern is I run out of enh pts way before I run out of things to spend them on, so I can't make up my mind where to put some of them. E.g., GWA for more glancing blows; or more Power Rage or PA enhs for more raw DPS? So hard to choose!

    I didnt take str III, amptitude or extra rages on mine.

    Relatively new player. I had a 12F/7Ro/1Ra that I brought up to 20 and was going to LR into this build. Screwed up during the LR and didn't change alignment, so couldn't pick up barb and now at 15F/5Ro and will switch to 18F/2Ro. Anyway, aside from that current annoyance. Even though its my only 20, I was thinking of TR'ing into this build. Made the char and was looking for a place to post it and came across this post.

    WF is nice, not my fav
    Horc is great, but didn't really like the neg to skill
    Picked dwarf due to liking the hp. Although enhancements are a killer...didn't take a lot of what I'd like. I have an SoS, but haven't had any luck attempting to epicize it yet, only been playing for a couple months.

    Not familiar at all with the barb enhancements - but figured I'd be running mostly in rage/powersurge/haste so attempted to focus there. +2 rage str/con via enhance, +50% duration. Didn't focus much at all around will saves/spell defense even though the enhancements are avail(+will during rage, dwarf spell resist). One thing I really didn't like was not having the points to focus on stunning blow - worth dropping some stat enhancements for it? (+3str, +4con = 24AP pts)

    Thoughts on build?

    Bit of a tangent, but FYI: you can't change alignment with LR or GR; you have to buy an alignment change separately.

    My half orc version is great. I do have a ton of gear, barb/paly past life and some +3 tomes, but I imagine it works well without some of that as well.

    You get one chance at stunning,bear in mind we have a new animation for stuns.

    If you can hit a high enough DC for stunning blow you don't need a stunning weapon,leaves you open to either use a big two hander to take advantage of such a high str or saves you from swapping weapons a lot if you use twf.
