Soloing on a endgame Barbarian

First off, Congrats on your run.

BTW how hard and which boss you get in Sins varies greatly based on which item you pick up on the table. As you can see in the first video I purposly pick the hardest boss.. Speaking of chains and trips - the boss I select constantly chained me from the start as well as trips on almost every hit, with a strength save DC that max str barbarian can barely make. Fight that guy on your clr/fvs and tell me how easy he was =)

Zuldar was talking about the chains impeding his movement in dodging the portal traps that curse you at the boss fight of NI. IIRC there are no traps in that room in sins.

Actually no one beat you to posting a video/pic proving your previous statement about non-epic quests being easy to solo..

So we are still waiting for you to solo sins elite on your melee. Since it's easy and all.

Or did you forget to say clr/fvs also.

IMO a quest like VoN2 epic is a bit easier to solo on a Barbarian then Sins elite.

So i just tried soloing this on my ranger Sowan. I didn't really come too prepared as i just wanted to see the difficulty, but it wasn't too bad.

I made it all the way to the last set of orthons (After the 2nd cinderspawn where they spwan back to back) But ran out of SF pots and died.

Tomorrow i may try it again, more SF pots and that should do it

Getting through the mobs to the end wasn't too hard, just vorpal's and chugging pots heh

It took me only around 25-30 min to get there. I killed all the mobs on the way too

If i spent as much time on decking out my meele as you do i would have little to no difficulty soloing sins on my meele either.

My "hard" is different then your "hard".

As running thru a quest with wings and blade barriers is allot different then hacking and slashing your way thru on a Barbarian.

Also Sins boss fight difficulty is determined by the item you pick up. If you take the ham, yep its a total joke.
Try taking the badge next time if your worried about chains and knockdowns.. The boss will deliver and you will understand.

Nice videos Shade. As a beginner and a learner, it's nice to "see" someone fight, rather than be told by someone how to fight. It's nice to see someone at work to learn fighting styles and strategies.

It kinda gives me hope that, should I choose to put in the time, effort, and $$$ to do so, that barbarians can do those end game uber quests solo (even though I probably wouldn't, because I really prefer to quest with people)

And here I thought, that on these epic quests, a barb needs a healer, caster, and a bard to run them effectively. But it seems you have enough clickies to be your own healer, caster, and bard.
