SERE is a *****. Dont give alway all your gear in game. You never know when you might stop back by. Deployments will make you long for the game trust me. Congrats on passing SERE. From an NCO Good Luck LT keep your ass down and your head up. Youll make it through whatever the service or life throws at you.
As I said before, this game/ community / etc. will loose a lot with your leaving. I am sorry to hear of your personal troubles but I have always firmly believed that which doesn't kill us makes us stronger.
I met you long ago as a young Windscar and Sebban/ Rhevin/Lochnar was around and introduced us. It was good times and I know everyone here appreciates what you have done to help the game and the community.
Take care sir and if you can't then never let me take you alive!![]()

Hrmmmm...
Was that someone I "know?"
Safe travels.
As I mentioned before, sad to see you go. Always enjoyed your posts and your contributions to the game.
I hope your SERE training had a chapter on Auzzie!

Brother as much as I hate to say it they rarely are when you need them on a deployment or going through a really tough service school. Very few people who havent been through what we go through will ever understand it. And it takes a very special lady to stick through it all. They are outthere though. Feel free to shoot me an im if you ever need a word or two. Cheers kist wish I wasnt deployed again or I would have ran with you on Khyber before you called it a day.
Since when are there computers at SERE school?
As for what to do while in Australia: King's Cross, Sydney, NSW.
You will forget old "what's her name" in about 10 minutes.
Great gambling in Brisbane.
Clubbing in Cairns, QLD.
Tip# 203: Death is a traumatic experience.
LOL @ Clay -- Thanks Clay, and I'm sure several chapters are viable techniques to use on Auzzie. *LMAO* But if I told you what they were they'd be a lie and I'd have to dispose of you if you knew the truth.
Yeah Rage, thanks I feel for ya but it's ok. Look for a "reprise" post around Gygax's birthday. If anyone is coordinating Gary and Dave runs on this day or anything, please feel free to coordinate with me. I probably won't f2p login, but if I haven't lost my posting privilleges on Monday than I should post some intense fan fiction in honor of Gary AND Dave.
As for my wife, she's just not dealing with the changes required to join our households. I don't blame her: she is giving up a lot of security and familiarity for us, but this Saturday morning she decided she wanted to pick me up at the airport after all (funny how women work, changing their minds as quickly as ever). We're going to see about working this out. I think the deployment issue is the least of her worries -- we've had a severely long-distance relationship for the last 14 years separated by 2 continents and the Pacific Ocean. She is tough enough to handle the distance. Anyway, I've got a feeling after our two and a half hour phone conversation on Saturday that we're going to work this out and hopefully be together in the States at the house I bought her as a wedding present on 31 July last year.
I-Phones and Dell Minis, sir. During the break from field training to RT. That's when I made my "RT" post and received some community support. Graduated 16 April 2010 -- a year exactly to the day I popped my left elbow out of its socket at SERE the first attempt in 2009! I was very misty-eyed. It was a glorious Friday.
Doubt I'll forget my wife's name. *L* Better not 'cuz she's picking me up (again) at the airport. Things changed. She's giving us a chance. The idea of not being together sucked too much for both of us.
We'll probably do some weekend trips to Hervey Bay and some areas south of Townsville, but I think we're skipping Brisbane. I'd really like to go Cairns, although the last club that I took the dance floor was at Virginia Beach in late 2006. *L* Thanks for the suggestions though! I'll pimp the girl and see if she's keen on anything up in Cairns.

May the road rise up to meet you, and the wind be always at your back.
Take care Kist. I'll miss seeing you in the LFMs getting people to support the games and giving me a hard time.
Be safe in all you do, and may your landings always be scheduled.
I don't need to walk on water when I know that I can run on wine.
