Arrow Finished (In More Than One Way)

    Argo and fellow DDO Players:

I already posted my goodbye thread during Christmas. I'm just announcing I finished SERE. I was supposed to go see my wife in Australia to work on "us," but it seems that is "finished" as well. In lieu of that, I seem to have 28 days in Australia and nowhere to go starting May 3rd (Oz time). If you're up to anything cool, I'm bouncing around from Hervey Bay to Perth, Melbourne and Brissy. I originally was flying into Rockhampton: we'll see if I even wind up there.

This week (once I get back to Little Rock -- in Seattle tonight) I'll finish up a few "Druid's Circle/Grove" scavenger hunts in 3BC for 100kp and divy out the last of my goods before I log off forever into that big dark screen in the sky.

Thanks for the support through the last week concerning the hardest training I've done in my whole life. It meant a lot that someone was there for me (yes you can read into that). I think I'm a better person and better warrior for freedom and the pursuit of happiness because of the training I received. I also got some cut abs out of the deal thanks to a Sgt forcing a Lieutenant to ruck up and down mountains with 80 lbs on his back. *L* Thanks Sarge!

It's been real. It was an honor serving Relics of the Last War and a real privllege to hang with this community. If you're on Oz and want to meet up, get in touch. I've got some free time now.

    -Kist

In one aspect, I am sorry to hear life was harsh on you, and that some vows made were unable to be kept.

But two parts respect also. Knowing when to leave, and serving.

Take good care of yourself, please, and thank you.

It is truely a shame that I have to tell one of the greatest people I know on DDO goodbye. You are truely a rolemodel for our community Kist and have always been.

I know your personal issues have been rough, weve talked about it once or twice. Dont give up hope in the rest of the world, you will always be a respected person in my book.

I hope that the rest of your life, whether it be with all of us on DDO or with your wife should you two try to work this out again or even in a nice house alone, is wonderful and full of nothing but the happiness that a great dude like you deserves. Take care Kistilan. You will be missed sorely.

Kist, I'm truly sorry to see you go. Since it's a free game I encourage you to at least drop in from time to time to see how things are going.

Good luck and maybe we'll run into each other in LR some time.

Hey Kist, remember this post you made around the time of the server merge?

They're the same stuff as us. This should be the smoothest integration of two groups of peoples in the history of mankind, let alone DDO.

I'm very happy that we took on the Plane of Endless Night as our merger-server ally. Without Darkness, there cannot be Light. Without Dragons, there cannot be Heroes.
Go be a hero dude and stop in when you have a chance.

I'm not sure if I'm still on your ignore list, but if I'm not: Good luck, Kist.

    Unhappy Incredibly sorry

My wife and I divorced several years ago, and it was the darkest time in my life. I feel for you; believe me. There is, also, light at the end of the tunnel, as it sounds as you are finding.

Best of luck to you, Sir. You are one of the good ones.

Couple days late from the OP, but:

    Knocked out SERE....

    **** - that's full of serious awesomeness. /Salute!

As for the other, real sorry to hear that. Hopefully that Ozzie free time will help ease the bruising.

Like Yaga said, don't be a stranger and drop by once in a while. The admission price is right.

SERE is a *****. Dont give alway all your gear in game. You never know when you might stop back by. Deployments will make you long for the game trust me. Congrats on passing SERE. From an NCO Good Luck LT keep your ass down and your head up. Youll make it through whatever the service or life throws at you.

    Cool Cheers

As I said before, this game/ community / etc. will loose a lot with your leaving. I am sorry to hear of your personal troubles but I have always firmly believed that which doesn't kill us makes us stronger.

I met you long ago as a young Windscar and Sebban/ Rhevin/Lochnar was around and introduced us. It was good times and I know everyone here appreciates what you have done to help the game and the community.

Take care sir and if you can't then never let me take you alive!
