Rgr/Rog with Monk1 and exotic weapons?

Hi guys,

I'm relatively new here and love the game, used to play a lot of pen and paper AD&D back in the day.

I have played a couple of characters to low-mid level to get used to things and now I have a Rgr6/Rog1 custom Tempest build.

I have a newbie question. If you take one level of Monk and you have levels in Ranger and one in Rog, when you get exotic weapon proficiency for monk weapons at Monk 1, do you get to use other exotic weapons as well, since you are multiclassing?

If you want to use e.g. Kopheshes you still have to burn a feat for that.
