    Default Fluff -

Well, i'm sure these things has been talked over the year but i'm still sad that i'm not seeing implemented in the game or not implemented at its 100% coolness.

    ~Fluff~

    * Cloak : We all wear cloak though they aren't shown, please add different type of cloaks in the game. No hood, hooded and the one that hide the lower part of the face. I'm sure some are great !

    * Armor Mesh : Well some are great, other are too much used and reused.. come one, i want more cool/unique looking and why not a way to change the look for the armor (at least the normal one - not the rare, like raid armor, etc..

    * Armor and Clothing Dye : I would like to be able to colour my armor too !

    * Weapon/Shield Sheathe : Yes there is a command for it but i would like to see it sheathed correctly on my toon, my 1h sword on my side, the greatsword on my back with the bow and shield, etc..

I'm not asking for heaven or a mount (yeah that wouldn't fit anyway), so add that and i'm sure i should not be the one who will be happy with these changes..
Sarlona : The Quebeckers - Soloing, Duoing or Small Group in french
Thelanis : Sofa Kings - Yes, we are that cool

NO DYE. Practically everything in GW was "You like my pink outfit?" or "WTS BLACK DYE - BAZILLION SEMOLIANS".

Dye could work if they limit dye choice to particular vendors. This way, only the colors Turbine chooses to be in game are in game, and things like true red, black, ect that are especially wanted can be put in the DDO store. Have the dye all Bound to Player, so it is a money sink in game along with hirelings for instance, as can not be misused on the auction house/Trade chat. Something close to what WAR did with their Dye system (although they had alchemist that could make other colors that were not available from the vendor)

    • White
    • Grey
    • Black
    • Red
    • Blue
    • Green
    • Yellow
    • Purple

Just a few colors off the top of my head.

Think about it though, Dye would be great to have for armor, cloaks, and clothing. We need a vast array of colors because quite frankly the dragon touched vestments would look awesome if they weren't POWDER BLUE come on seriously? What you do to limit missuse of the /trade for dyes is easy, make them about 1000gp per change in color, impliment a shop for them in the market place. I mean, plenty of buildings aren't being used for anything.

A 'tailors' shop would actually be a great idea in my opinion because those of us who roleplay and enjoy not wearing heavy clanky armor 24/7 want to look nice. Kind of hard to appear dark and mysterious(or even sensible) when your best gear is powder blue...no one likes powder blue...

of course like helmets for visible cloaks /showcloak off/on would be nice to hide those geeky hot pink cloaks we know the devs would put in if they ever read this and decided to add such a thing.

Lol, i bet you never spend any buck on real mmo, so let me tell you that dye is surely one of the most silent thing in trade chat. Yes everyone will be black because its cool, but if you make stuff accessible or semi-accessible you wont see that kind of ****.

GW has that insanity and polluted trade chat its only because there is no aunction house in that game, and the dye market is part of their economy.

And if you're trying to do a counter-argument try to at least use less caps and comparing apple w/ apple (imo GW and DDo are 2 different game on too many aspect).

So in closure, learn to mmo correctly and ncsoft games suck.
I don't think I need to make fun of you because you're did it for me... "learn to mmo correctly"?

Morningstar SE - Thanks for your post! This is a long running suggestion to Turbine Devs of DDO.
If you are interested you can read my overall discussion of this topic here: This Thread contains links to all the other Posts on this Subject which contain a great deal of feedback from the DDO community.

I hope The Devs listen to the players and implement this feature too. Thanks for your suggestions
So in everything, do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

If you really want these things implemented, then ask turbine to offer them as store purchase only. They will put it in game if they see revenue coming from it. Spend some TP to dye your armor, choose different skins, etc. I wouldn't mind having that option, but as it is only fluff, if they are going to expend resources on it, it should at least give them revenue.
    Ghallanda: Neatoelf15wiz/1rgr, Neetoelf17wiz, NeatoManhuman13rog/6pal/1mnk, NeatoHombrehuman12ftr/6pal/2rog, Kneetoedwarf17clr, Kneedoughdrow18clr/2mnk

Minimize expectations and you'll never be disappointed

In a Dungeons and Dragons Pen and paper Fantasy Game your characters appearance would be painted in and limited only by your imagination! It would be utterly ridiculous if you had to go and buy a new Wizards of the Coast D&D sourcbook for $6.99 to just have your character look the way you imagine him or her to look.

I already pay $14.99 a month to play DDO. I do not expect to have to pay more RL Money, or go through a **** boring Favour Grind just to have my character look the way I want. There SHOULD be alternative ways to access Cosmetic Options.

In a believeable fantasy world you would have your Armour and Shield and Helmet tailor made for you by a Blacksmith and an Alchemist - not buy it from the Game Master by bribing him with dollars.

Thanks for the support, i knew all these ideas were already asked in the past but i wished the blue name to not forget these ideas.

Hell effin no. Turbine is a company but they failed to implement these things that were asked before turning DDO into a Free 2 Pay model. Lotro has some of it (so the company that own the 2 games have the tech), other subbed game has it as other F2P games has it too, so it would be normal to see these fluff implemented as a feature for everybody and not paying for it, i'm no fool and far from stupid but if you want to pay for it go ahead, no one prevent you to spend your money the way you wish.

And to the guy who believe powdered blue is great, no it is not.... :P
