    Default Launcher error

Hi, I just installed DDO on my laptop after I had to do a complete re-install of my system. There were no problems during installation, although there is no desktop or start menu icon. But every time I try to start the game it shows the loading window with the monk and it gets to "Constructing data center browser" before giving the following error message. I couldn't find a log file in the app data folder. Any help is most appreciated

Most likely that's .Net 1.1 related. Open up the "Uninstall a Program" option in the control panel and look in there for:

    "Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1"
"Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 "Hotfix" (KB####)"

Both might come up (if so uninstall them first) but you may only see the first one, either way download and install them from the links here:

    Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1
    The 1.1 Service Pack (Hotfix)

If it keeps up definitely open a tech support request here if you haven't yet.

    Exclamation Launcher Window error

Hi there, I am also having a similar issue, I am on a laptop like Crazy San, but I am running windows XP SP2. The issue I get looks slightly different, however I had initially thought it was a .NET framework issue and so I uninstalled and then downloaded and reinstalled the .NET 1.1 and it's associated hotfix, all to no avail. Please help me. I have a cropped down screen shot like Crazy San has, but the forum won't allow me to post it.

You may need to host the image on a picture hosting site the image links on the forums won't recognize if the image is local.

If you haven't yet put in a support ticket as well just as a backup to troubleshooting it here.
