As you might deduce from the subject line, in my opinion, end-game gaming is too split in three different factions to be enjoyable. You have the epic junkies, the TR junkies and those who simply are not interested in neither -- or those who already have the epic items they wished for or those who alaredy TR 2x and have the build they wanted. Other than the occasional Abbot and/or ToD there's really no much to do end-game right now. Seen many ToD and even Shroud lfms (from well known guilds in my server) go unfulfilled. This problem was further exacerbated by the change to Horoth's AoE banishment in ToD.

So, TR junkies/completionists will keep doing so (up to a point, I hope). That leaves the Epic buffs and the non-Epic end-gamers as a possible pool. So, the idea is to have these two pools merged. One way is to add more non-epic, end-game content (which I hope happens soon before most of my in-game friends quit) or add epic-only content. More non-epic end-game content will draw both crowds assuming it doesn't require some ridiculous grind (i.e. boots) to play. +4 tomes, named items and so forth wrt rewards. Epic-only content would be a lure to anyone because it is unseen content and specially designed for epic gaming (i.e. epic encounters without having to hyper inflated HPs or give them ridiculous immunities). Perhaps an epic mission to the continent of Argonnessen with all its dragons, barbarian tribes and so forth. In fact, travel to other regions of Eberron could make excellent epic-only storylines. The idea is to have the epic challenge w/o having to re-run ad nauseum on epic content that has already been run ad nauseum for years. It would also give incentive for the completionists to hang around end game for a while instead of TRing right after they hit the cap.

Again, I'm completely open to ideas as to how to revitalize end-game and I'd like to hear them. Perhaps if we as a bloc can come to some sort of agreement, the devs will take notice and perhaps chat among themselves. I know this is whimsical thinking, but really at this point when I've almost given up completely on this game, some new ideas and exciting content could get end-game out of the doldrums.
