    Default Favored Enemy increases

In PnP, you get a +2 damage for all of your favored enemies, and a bonus +2 damage to ONE of your favored enemies every 5 levels.

Now, in DDO, there is no choice of which favored enemy to apply the bonus +2 damage to, so I am assuming that you get an additional +2 damage to all of your favored enemies every 5 levels.

Of course, none of this counts the bonuses for enhancements.

Has anyone tested this to see if this is how it works?

    Thanks,

    Holgar

According to the compendium http://compendium.ddo.com/wiki/Feat:Favored_Enemy you add +2 dmg to EVERY favored enemy every 5 lvls, so it does mean something which order you take your favored enemies in. At lvl 20 (pure ranger), you'll have these bonuses (base bonuses, you can enhance these with AP):

    1st FE (taken at lvl 1): +10
    2nd FE (taken at lvl 5: +8
    3rd FE (taken at lvl 10): +6
    4th FE (taken at lvl 15): +4
    5th FE (taken at lvl 20): +2

Now if you make a splash (ie. using exploiter template), you'll get this instead:
1st FE (taken at ranger lvl 1): +8
2nd FE (taken at ranger lvl 5): +6
3rd FE (taken at ranger lvl 10): +4
4th FE (taken at ranger lvl 15): +2
