Instead of making us pay a ridiculous amount (995 TP per character) for an additional +20 personal bank space, why not make that the 3rd tier of House K favor? This allows each character the ability to unlock it. Almost 6000 TP for this for my 6 characters means I won't be buying this!

Wow you guys are mean. If they did that then how would the devs buy new cars for their kids? Really they need more ways to make outrageous sums on silly things.

New mob

Name : Plat Eater
Model: Same as Rust monster except silver skin
Damage: Same as rust monster except on every hit this mob eats 1d10 TP from your account. If you do not have 10 TP free on your account the monster instead eats 1d10 K plat from your character. This special attack replaces the normal rust monster attack.

995 TP's, really? This is why I hardly ever buy anything from the DDO store, mainly just my one TR and a handful of xp pots when I leveled my main. I would be perfectly willing to spend TP's on fluff things if they were set at a reasonable amount, but that price point is outrageous.

It isn't per character. Once you purchase it, you have it for all characters, on all servers. But nonetheless, it's freaking expensive, and you only get 20 spaces? Doesn't seem worth it, at all.

I agree with the OP, this is getting ridiculous. They have abandoned the favor system and replaced it with direct buy.

Sure, their entitled to make money, they get my $15 every month. I could open up bank slots 2 & 3 with favor, now why all of a sudden the change??

And yeah 995 points? No fricking way... thats so over priced.

Turbine, will you answer directly why you do not offer an option to EARN this achievement just like all the others?

Let the people who have a lot of discretionary $$ buy it. Let the F2P players buy it rather than earn it as that's how they play. But what about VIP's who are already paying you? Let the rest of us earn it.

Selling adventure packs makes perfect sense and fits with their original statement that doing so is no different than when you walk into a game/book store and buy a module. I have never walked into a game/book store and had to BUY this kind of stuff for the core game. You could find items in game that could approximate this.

Originally I didnt care much about the P2P model, but the more this kind of stuff happens, the more I fear that F2P will kill the way I enjoy the game (microdeath).

As per the release notes:

"Upgrade your character's individual bank account with 20 additional item slots of storage space! This stacks with any favor-earned bank space from House Kundarak! This bank slot will persist through lesser, greater, as well as True reincarnations. IMPORTANT: This only affects the purchasing character's bank and does not affect or upgrade your shared account bank. "

You are *not* getting it on all characters across all the servers.

Sadly i've been saying this all along. The Store went from a convenience thing to have to a necessity. Nothing in the store should be exclusive to the store. We should be able to attain things through gaming in-game instead of real life money.

This is PER CHARACTER individually.
You have to spend 995TP for each character that you want to have this extra bank slot.
