Imple question need answer

I am looking into some multiclass creations and saw a build that had monk and barb mixed. I was curious as to the rage blocking the use of ki strikes and/or finishers. I have a pure barb and know that rage blocks some of the things you can do but wasn't sure about ki strikes seemed a waste to create a toon just to answer the question if someone else already knew.

Monk = Must be Lawful
Barb = Cannot be Lawful

Sorry, impossible to mix the 2 classes. That being said, monks can use ki STRIKES while raged (madstone) but cannot use finishers which have a magic animation (similar to that of Barbarian rage.) We can use finishers like the earth > earth > earth for x4 crit, but not a finisher like our buffs.

Alignment restrictions won't let you mix monk/barb. The build you saw wasn't legal.

Maybe what he saw was actually a barbarian true reincarnated into a monk, and using the Past Life Feat to activate rage.

In that case it is a valid question as to if the rage buff prevents the use of monk powers.
