Looking for a little monk help :)

So my monk is now level 20. I am looking to gear her up for elite raids and epic questing. As such, I am looking for useful, constructive help on what gear(raid and general) I should farm for to help with her dps...since I have been told she is rather lacking in this department while keeping her alive

Already have icy raiments, and plan on using Jidz'Tetka(epic version) in bracer slot. Minos will be her helm until something better comes along. Making her a set of gs goggles of concordant opposition(+5 fort save, +1 exc will save, sup regen, +10 dip/haggle, +6 wis) and a gs cloak of triple air(hp item)

She is light path and dragonmarked(although still have free feat change, so can get rid of this...just made it easier to solo with her if needed without much resource use)

She has used +2 tomes for all stats and plan on getting +3/+4's when I can get them for her.

Any constructive advice is greatly appreciated, any "reroll" comments will be curtly ignored

If you didn't already have your goggles started I would say not to make them. On a melee class you really want Tharnes for your goggle slot. Other than that get ToD rings. Enchant one with holy burst and probably shocking burst on the other, that will help dps a lot. You may want to consider spectral gloves (epic preferred though even just normal ones are great) especially if you ever have issues hitting things as they add +2 to your attack. Your strength and dex both seem a little low. usually with a 22 strength I would expect to see a little higher dex and would assume weapon finesse. For epics and higher difficulties I think you will find you have some issues hitting things.

I know you said to ignore the voice, but what trinket are you looking at getting instead?

ToD rings with Holy Burst and Shocking Burst + Metalline Handwraps for ToD, Shroud, and VoD bosses. Greater Banes and Weighted for Epic mobs. Vorpal for all non-boss non-epic mobs that aren't Deathwarded.

I'd go with the Shintao Monk set and the FB set if you can get both. I don't think I could ever get lucky enough for the FB set so I went with Shintao and Thief Acrobat sets.

- Jorgundal's is pointless. It's the same bonus as haste and wind stance. Wind stance alone is the same speed as haste +10% insight bonus. Monks are the luckiest class in the world in that they don't need haste for full attack speed!

- Need less Wisdom. Need more DEX/STR. Did you put your level up points into wisdom? (My biggest pet peeve with monk builds, never do it!!)

Probably reavers head for +2 bonus or bloodstone for seeker...unless turbine puts a gs trinket in game(ROFL)...or a better one(although will accept any better suggestions

Thanks Eury, pulled it in tor yesterday and put it on since I didn't really have a neck to wear(was +6 wis, but getting that on my gs goggles now)...I do have a +3 lesser heart I can use to restat her if I need to use it

and this is my first monk build that I actually liked while I was leveling(not the first one I tried by far) and didn't really look any builds up, as I wanted to try things out on my own...us girls have to do things our own way you know

Here's mine for reference. Still a baby character too (less than 12 of all raids, no +3 tomes, and too lazy to craft a GS item!) Actually, I'm waiting to get tharnes goggles to use a greensteal cloak over the abbot cloak. Also I think I logged out in CON stance, hence the 28con and 22 dex when it should be 28 dex and 22con.

Unfortunately, I skipped the whole necropolis(except farming shadow crypt)series while leveling her, so need to flag for abbot, was thinking litany as well for trinket slot, once I get flagged
