Quick Platinum Runs

What quests do you do solo to get large amounts of platinum quickly? I'd like to start doing some cash runs every once and a while. The difficulty of the quest doesn't matter much as long as it is possible to solo it as a 20 sorc and the platinum is very good for the time spent.

Sins of Attrition is a good un. 15 mins, two high level chests + end reward.
Enter the kobold, up to 5 high level chests + end reward.
Uh, the whole IQ/Dreaming Dark series. Very easy quests, very fast.

Yeah, go solo everthing at high level.

The desert can also be nice for the good named items - most of the time you wont earn much tho, only if they drop.

Best quest for quick vendor loot would have to be DQ1 epic... 3 minutes for 3 chests.
But farming bloodstones, demons bloods, eardwellers, etc would probably make more money... need luck and time though..

Sands for Bloodstone/Spectral Gloves. Orchard Rares. You could get 20 tapestrys and sell them for like a good chunk on the AH, Vale rares.

IQ and Mindsunder. Made 150k plat in a few hours of farming.

Sins of attrition, nuking specced sorcerer or FvS- nice fast solo run. Devil's keepsakes for 300-400k plat on a regular basis.

Shavarath rares next to dungeon entrances with several hirelings for instant reset.

Dreaming Dark/Mindsunder Farming.

It's bound to character but it drops on the ground as a "treasury bag". Rumours say that it disappears from ground after 10min~. So /trade or lfm up for it and hope buyer arrives in time. Very risky way of making money.

This if your feeling lucky. Making trades with scales/ rare drops.

Another way is to not solo but just do Shroud. Alot. speed runs with multiple characters. decent vendor loot plus you get tomes every 20th.


Vale runs invisible can be extremley fast if you get a good named pattern down, but no chance for named items just plat. used to do that but not anymore, its easier to just shroud.

I think the best way to get rich is to wait until something in real high demand comes out (eardwerller) usually when new content does. I sold two demon blood for max plat and mysterious artifacts for almost max plat when amarath first came out.

With just you and a hireling in a party, dismissing the hireling and summoning a different hireling instantly resets the slayer zone when you're not in it? Interesting.
